Popsenteret is an interactive museum of popular music, especially from the Norwegian music and culture the last 100 years.
The Museum is located at Grünerløkka in Oslo and shows us cutting-edge audio-visual technology. Visitors can record famous songs in the studios at the center and mix their own tracks. And you can make an album cover and get the song on mp3. Cool right?
Popsenteret is a fun place for all music fans, no matter what age you are. For a more fun experience I would recommend a pocket guide. A museum is always better with some guidance on the way.
On the permanent exhibition you can experience norwegian music from 1904 through audio, video and images. Also music intruments in the same period are displayed. You can also buy cool merchandise at the Popshop.
This was a very fun and different museum then I’ve visited before. I absolutely recommend this to any person who enjoys music.
